Titanfall will meanwhile be limited by the XBONE install base. Being an online only mp game will limit its legs, so I'd expect it to be sub 4 million.

It's already at 2.1 mil last I checked.

Edit: And a Titanfall commercial came on as I was writing tis. "Titanfall, only on PC and Xbox".

OT: Nope, Titanfall might sell more, in the meantime of Halo's release they might be tempted by TF.

FIFA and Forza bundles were tracked for Xbox One, so I see no reason why the Titanfall bundle will be any different.

Vgchartz don't track digital.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Thanks for the well-reasoned response. I didn't know that about Resistance, and I also forgot about Titanfall being online-only. I will add that point to my own if you do not mind me doing so?!

Not a bad prediction. I concur; Killzone will outsell Xbox One version of Titanfall.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Killzone Shadow Fall maintain the lead. Its gonna be a Resistance: Fall of Man like title for PS4. Will leg it to ~5 Million thanks to bundles... And I really dont see Titanfall legging it through past the upcoming Destiny, Call of Duty and Halo flood of FPS that will hit the One within the next Year.

Titanfall will sell well, it'll boost X1 sales for a couple of weeks but that's it. It's going to be very front loaded, in my opinion, but it will not sell more than Killzone. After March and heck during March the PS4 will continue to steam roll to the X1 which means KZ will continue selling, Titanfall will flatline until an actual X1 price cut boosts sales. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that WW, inFamous will outsell the X1 version of Titanfall

People need to temper their expectations and look to past "system sellers" like MGS4 and Halo to see what Titanfall might do (I honestly don't get where some get their absurd expectations for TF)
