Don't ban yourself. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. It's like the best way to quit drinking is with a cabinet full of liquor. The stronger the urge you resist, the more resistance you develop.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I don't why people ask for permabans...just don't log on here anymore til you feel compelled to do so

or just stay out of the threads that anger you

By that analogy, then, the best way to quit vgchartz is to spamfuck the boards to kingdom come, and get deservedly permabanned. I guess that works too, but it's not as good as my proposal.

My new signature was justified so.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Why don´t you just ignore them and /or make fun ouf the most  redicolous posts ?

You are one of the better Nintendo fans here who hasn´t become super cynical.

Fleeing is the wrong way to handle the situation.

don't permaban yourself. Just stay away from nintendo doom threads and just ignore comments from pessimists and downplayers - take them with a grain of salt and don't look to much into them - no one can predict the future - stick to the hear and now

You should have been banned a long time ago. Leaving Sega when they needed you the most. I stuck them out the end.

Now be gone from my sight!!!

I want to request a permanent ban as I feel I let myself down and get to drawn into negative Nintendo threads and admittedly come across as a Nintendo fanboy, which I am, but also come across as strongly negative towards Sony and its fans which I would like to apologise for and I'm sorry if I've upset or angered anyone on these threads, I don't hate Sony, PS1 is one of my favourite consoles of all time, anyway I apologise and if I come back in the future I plan to be a reformed character, until then I wish everyone well.

If you are a "true" fan then dont quit. Being fan doesnt mean praising a system during good time. It means supporting and believing at good and bad times. Dont ban yourself. Stay here. Be strong. Nintendo can pull it off.
