If you bought Wii U for 3rd party you chose the wrong console.
a good 3rd party game every once in a while is fine with me because most likely im not going to rush to get it anyway.

What will you base your "fails us" hopes on? certainly not retail performance i hope.
It's going to sell terribly on the WiiU even if it IS good.

Have you thought that maybe some prefer playing Nintendo games over third party games ? And they hope that some decent third party offerings will be available as a bonus on their Nintendo console. Wtf are you talking about making this a question of intelligence and success. |
Are you quesioning science.?You sound like a Nintendo theologian. The answer is obvious. You have pleny of options in what you buy.

Good for you. Have fun missing out on half the games.

So if Watch dogs is of similar quality or slightly better, with intuitive gamepad use, i would be pleased with that. I knew what i was getting when i bought my Wii U in terms of multiplat games, at least they are of a higher quality than Wii ones :) |
Same here, I would like Watch_Dogs to be graphically on par with the PS3 and 360 edition (with steadier framerates), and use the gamepad properly, that is not much to ask.
What is the meaning of being done with 3rd party? What if a 3rd party releases an excellent game after? Would you say "Sorry, I'm done with 3rd party. You can take your great game on Wii U and shovel it..."?

lol for me Watchdogs is kinda MEH, I see a game that doesn't know what kind of game want to be. So it doesn't affect me at all if it fails or wins :/

Seriously, you don't get to decide if you're done with third party on a Nintendo console, the third parties decide if you're worth bothering with and most of them are questioning whether you're worth their time, largely because we, as a collective, never give them a chance. Look at the N64 and Gamecube sales, (Wii is hard to compare), Nintendo console owners buy first party and ONLY first party. If Watch_Dogs doesn't see at least comparable sales on Wii U as on other systems based on user base; (ie. similar sales to the PS4/Xbone, or approx 15% of the sale on Xbox 360/PS3), you can expect to see third parties disreguarding the Wii U entirely as nothing more than "another Dreamcast" and that will be a major shame. |
We already know how well 3rd party does on Wii U with comparable userbase to PS4.
Call of Duty: Ghosts PS4 1.91
Call of Duty: Ghosts XOne 1.55
Call of Duty: Ghosts WiiU 0.13
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag PS4 1.41
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag XOne 0.68
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag WiiU 0.15
We don't know for multiplats like NBA2K14, FIFA 14, NFS Rivals, Battlefield 4, since they already decided not to support Wii U anymore.

So it's confirmed you have no clue what your talking about and only have a console because your just ignorant of PC gaming.
I just built my second pc for 600 dollars. Runs games at 1080p 60frames. My first pc is still working for 3 years and runs way above consoles.
I seen ps3 and Xbox 360s die faster than computers.

To be honest, the Wii u has and is getting a TON of indie games along with epic first party ones and I think I would be perfectly happy playing just first party and indie games (plus Sega) and first party/third party collaborations. If watchdog port fails, I'm done. No more watered down garbage! |
If Sega was more like a 2nd party, don't you think Yakuza Ishiin would have released on WiiU? Maybe even exclusively?
