 You apparently don't play PC games much...many players have mics...there are few PC gamers that want to speak yet don't own a mic...there's always plenty that choose not to talk...there's tons of 360 gamers that don't talk in case you didn't notice.

Ugh, more people who don't have any clue how expensive PCs are. You can build a PC for $500 that will play every multiplat game this generation better than the consoles do, and if you are willing to pay another $100 every couple years for a new graphics card, you'll be able to play all PC exclusives of the generation too. Consider you are paying $10 less for games and not paying $50 annually for an overpriced crappy online system it's fairly clear that there is not a large cost difference.

And I'll be damned before I let someone call an EA port of a Valve game handled by some random Halo 2 map developer a 360 exclusive.  A 360 console exclusive sure, but not a 360 exclusive.


Certain Affinity, the guys working on the 360 specific elements of the game have a lot of experience.  Max Hoberman for example was at Bungie for 10 years and was the multiplayer lead for Halo 2 and Halo 3.  Also main parts of the game are still being worked on by Valve and Turtle Rock and the Source engine has already been shown to work very well on 360 so I don't think it's fair to put the 360 version of the game down until we actually get a chance to see and play it.  The 360 version may be a pleasant surprise.

Not true, When I read it, all I saw was it was 360 exclusive. If you are a PC fan, you probably won't even open this thread.

All I'm asking is a little more clarity, a little fairness in disclosing all the information.

Hmm I didn't know the 360 version wasn't in-house.....

I hope EA literally has nothing to do with the production of the game, especially after what they did to the Orange Box on the PS3. In any case it sounds like the team isn't completely clueless, but without any track record or proven results just about anything could happen.

I have a feeling at the very least Valve is going to keep a closer eye on the project because of what happened last time and if thats the case it should go a long way towards ensuring a very polished final product.
