I thought it looked awesome. I would've loved playing with a futuristic looking controller instead of a DS3 which looked the same as the black DS1 controller I bought in '97.

Minus the shitty Control Stick the N64 controller is awesome, just with every game had customisable control setups
It was abandoned because of business reasons.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
Uninspired, unimaginative and uncomfortable (from the looks) controller. Good thing is that they went to old design. Sony was really arrogant at that time.
The abandonation of this controller probably made many Australians really upset.

Chupa Chups had a shitty lawyer.

Sony realize that people would hurt themselves with it because they will probably throw it at each other more often than actually use it as a controller. Lol!
