There is a big difference between somebody that likes animals and somebody that likes them to the point where they would make conversations about adding an animals bodypart, especially one that has a sexuall association such as a tail. What about a dolphin tail? That might actually be useful when swimming. Or a scorpion tail - useful for fighting. A horse tail may be best if you're looking to swat flies.
