The PS4 is very slow compared to PC because it does not have a real GPU. AMD CPUs are also far behind Intel in general terms of performance.

PC has no type weakness cause its ??? type, but it also has no attack moves. It also can't be caught and thus cannot be used in a Trainer Battle, so its irrelevant here.

Just because the wii did well last gen at first, and the ps4 is doing well in the beginning this gen, doesn't mean that they are the same.
Unlike the wii:
The ps4 is the strongest this gen, not the weakest
the ps4 is targeting a different audience than the wii did.
3rd part devs want to develop for the ps4 more than any other console.
Basically, the wii and ps4 are in no way comparable to each other.
The same weakness all consoles face in that the tech is already outdated.
It has a weaker upcoming lineup than the One for the foreseable future, but that should abate in time.

As far as feature weaknesses (BC,CD,MP3 etc.) are all going to be patched in sooner or later so I don't see much in the way of that. The only weakness I can see RIGHT NOW is it's library being too hardcore. It needs more diversity like the PS2 had. Back then, you could pick up Metal Gear and Silent Hill but you could also buy games like Rachet and Clank, Jak and Dexter, Sly Cooper, Tak etc.
If the PS4 can pull that off, it's going to be another PS2 as far as library goes imo.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
