So anyone who knows my posts knows that Ive gone on record saying that I'm not a handheld gamer and I dont care about the handheld market. They would also know (had in depth conversation with wright about it numerous times) that I dont like the idea of PS+ and dont have time to play the guys i buy at retail so no point in getting plus.
I retract all statements from above on this day forth and now make the following statements: HOLY SHIT I LOVE PSV AND PS+!!!
So, I feel i should explain what gives the change of heart. First of all, I have always considered a handheld for breaks in classes (last semester I had a three hour break between classes, tedious). Well, the oppertunity presented itself when I was looking at the Playstation section at my Target. Someone returned a (same thing that happened with my ps4. Someone returns it and guest service opens it to make sure its all there and marks it down) vita and it was marked down 30%. I bought it for $120. I bought tearaway and went home. Afterward I really considered a ps+ subsription since now i have 3 playstations that get free games every month. I bought that(12 month and download way too many games to even remember all of them. Its already paid for itself.
Now to justify my purchases, i still dont care about the handheld market and i dont care about those sales. The Vita is some awesome HW though. And i didnt buy the ps+ for the online play (i dont even have an online playable game other than the free to play ones nor am i getting one anytime soon) but i still dont like that bull shit concept of the ps+ paywall.
