That's funny, because Atlus said today that fans shouldn't expect Demon's Souls 2. Maybe co-op trolling?

The moment they announce a new Souls for PS4 is the moment I buy a PS4.

They also said that it's Sony's call. Maybe Sony put Demon's Souls 2 into production without telling Atlus. I don't think Atlus has any rights to the franchise. 

Funny, because Atlus is far more commited to the franchise than Sony. They still have the servers online xD

It is but Atlus is just the US publisher... Sony own the IP and the developer was From Software... it is like Atlus didn't have nothing to do with Demon's Souls... just sold it to US.

I doubt it. Wasn't that in response to a question on PS Blog? Seems like it's just a coincidence. Besides, I doubt SCEA is going to miss the boat on Demon's Souls a second time.

But the fact that Miyazaki handed over the reigns for Dark Souls 2 is conspicuous, and a lot of people's suspicion has always been that it was because he's working on a Demon's Souls sequel. So I B_E_L_I_E_V_E!

That's just because Atlus is awesome loves it's fans. 

In a strange turn of events, though, Sony thought the game was so uninteresting that they weren't going to localize it. It is thanks to Atlus that we have get to know the Soul games. They're the saviors!

And yes, you're right. They merely brought it to US!

Sony owns the IP so they'll make if they want to.
