Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How many titles have you purchased digital or physical for Wii U?

Started this thread because I noticed a thread of the same question about the Xbox 1.

I'm just asking for main releases and not VC or indie games at this point. I know some people have mass amounts of games and it might make for some very long lists. Just like the one I am about to make for myself.

Digital:

Ninja Gaiden 3, Just Dance 2014, Wii Fit U, Wind Waker HD, AC 4, Donkey Kong:Tropical Freeze

Physical:

Lego:Marvel Avengers, Disney Infinity, Call od Duty Ghosts and Black Ops 2, Deus Ex, Arkham City and Origins, Mass Effect 3, Super Mario 3D World, Lego City, ZombiU, NintendoLand, AC3, New Super Mario Bros U, Scribblenauts unlimited, Resident Evil:Revelations, Pikmin 3, Epic Mickey 2, Splintercell Blacklist, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Rayman Legends.

So that puts it up to 27 so far. Yikes!

Oh, I also have a 2TB external HD that I recently purchased as I plan to start buying more digital.

Crap, not sure how I missed it, but Wonderful 101 physical. Make that 28.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

4 games so far, all physical:

Nintendo Land
Super Mario 3D World
ZombiU
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze

I like digital versions for handhelds, because they are much more conveniant... I don't want to carry around a bag of modules.

For stationary systems I prefer physical discs unless the digital version is considerably cheaper (Steam sales, Indie bundles, PSN sales, PS+ discounts). But the eShop prices are not cheaper or even the same as retail, they are 50% - 100% above retail prices and lack of a decent account system.

I have 3D World, Tekken Tag Tournament nd Rayman Legends. Pre Ordred DK Tropical Freeze, and it should arrive to Argentina the first or second week of march.

Later this year I will surely get Kart, Smash, and I will have to import from the USA the Wonderful 101.

Make sure you do get W101, great game. Very challenging though.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

I've decided to go all-digital with ONLY Nintendo developed/published games. This is my way of putting more money in their pocket for their hard work, and it's hard to go wrong with a Nintendo game.

Having said that, my ex had bought me Pikmin 3, and W101 I had pre-ordered long before my decision to go digital. However, since then, all digital (WWHD, SM3DW, DKC:TF). In fact, in reviewing DKC:TF, I didn't feel the loading times were an issue at all. Even though the USB 2.0 setup is meant to mimic the disc drive/internal memory in speed, it seemed to be a shred faster than videos I saw of loading times...
