I have absolutely no problem with 720p vs 1080p threads. I'm more interested in tech discussion than sales discussion, and I'd like to know how different versions of a game compare and whether I'm getting the superior version or not.

Still, a lot of the threads don't warrant the attention they get.

Anyway, I dislike:

- Threads with a mocking tone (every Vita exclusive vs. some 3DS exclusive).
- Threads that try to drag unrelated business discussion into gaming discussion.
- Threads with absolutely bullshit sources, posted by someone who knows it's bullshit.
- Threads that unreasonably try to downplay something.
- Threads that encourage users to collectively whine about stuff.

"Why do you care if game A outsells game B, stop being such a fanboy!"

"Only saps pay money to play online, everything should be free!"

"If you play story-based games then you're not a true gamer, gameplay is all that matters!"

"Company X is about to go bankrupt haha!"

"My billion dollar corporation has more money than your billion dollar corporation!"

Graphics wars.

But you have arbitrarily compared it to 3D World in terms of sales to "downplay" it lol.

Personally, I do not understand the loyalty to companies, nor to sports teams, nor who should win an oscar this year.  At the end of the day, it does nothing for us to see other people/companies to succeed in life.

I am not annoyed by any of this topics but I am annoyed by 720p games that claim to be nextgen and multiplayer paywalls and I hope that Microsoft will sell the Xbox brand to Amazon.
