sony very specifically said that ps4 will be hard to find until april.

...i think from that ps4 shipments will be kinda low for march even with infamous launching.  i don't think we'll see a weekly average above ~150k in march.  so 5.8M (now) + 5weeks @ 150k = 6.55M  add maybe another 100k in ps4s "in transit" and i think LTD ps4 shipments will be at ~6.7M in sony's financials.

i would love to be too low though.

6.4-6.7 million I think, the Japanese launch was a little under my expectations (missed by about 80k) and the rest of the next weeks should also suffer as a consequence (about 200k less than I imagined in total for Japan until March 31st).

I can see what you mean but how do we know they haven't said that because they know the demand in March is going to skyrocket? Comments like that also make it more likely people are going to be eager to buy the first PS4 they see.

Man Infamous:Second Son won't move any hardware since it will sell out anyway with it's low shipments. 7.05 million is my guess.

i mean, we are both speculating.   i think infamous will increase demand but that only more or less guarentees that ps4 continues to sell out after each shipment until april.   so the only real question is how much does sony ship?  i'm just taking sony's press statement to mean "status quo" until april.

...but i'd love it if they at least had a bulge for infamous's release.  i was going to buy for that but now i'm not sure i'll find one in time.   ..not that i'll be too disappointed if i have to wait until april.  a short delay due to sony killing it really wouldn't be that bad.  xD

So you haven't got a PS4 yet?! Isn't the Infamous Bundle still up for preorder? I was jammy as hell when I got my PS4. I queued for 3 hours and was 15th with what turned out only 16 consoles! PHEW :)
