A little something like this.

Car - Microsoft
Roof - Sony
Ticket stand - Nintendo

Sonys going to crush them all?

Sure, if you think a roof on the ground is useful to anyone.

No chance for a crash until next get. Things were looking grim with the Xbone and Wii U but Sony rode in to save the day.

It's still in one piece so it can be reused, the car and the ticket stand on the other hand are toast.

You should run for president, think of the money you could save by telling victims of katrina to re-use portions of their storm damaged homes rather then building from scratch, i'll be sure to pass on your sound logic to my friends over in fukushima too.

It wont. Look at pewdiepie, climbing youtube charts like crazy, vanoss gaming, kyr speedy getting huge boosts in views recently. Also recently gta 5 the fastest selling game ever. And the fastest selling console launches ever. If anything its getting larger imo.

There is a huge difference between people watching youtube videos and buying games.

I know a lot of people that skip games entirely because "they already watched a full play through on youtube".

True, but still it gets more attention on gaming. And the other facts I stated are actual sales, you cant say the industry is on a decline. Especially if you consider mobile gaming part of it, then its expanding tremendesly.

later.
Because 'what goes up must come down'. Or as a Buddhist must say, 'all things that are subject to birth are subject to death'. Or perhaps "all things with a beginning must have an end." Just like humanity. We will die out and be forgotten.

Im going to get lots of hate for this but honestly, if the industry fails, the Pc will still be around. Devs do not have to spend insane amounts of money to develop for Pc's unless they really want to, and indies thrive on Pc's. Graphics do not really matter on Pc unless its a known AAA title that everyone expects to be really great. I hope the industry doesn't crash though, what will I do without my PlayStation Jrpgs:(
