Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Video service ending in Japan this March

No explanation as to why Nintendo is doing this, but the Nintendo Video service for 3DS will soon be ended in Japan. Mark March 31st down, because that's the last day you'll be able to use your Japanese 3DS to access any Nintendo Video content.

I used to feel obligated to watch those videos but not so much anymore. My daughter still loves them. She'll be giggling her ass off and I'll ask her what's going on. She'll just say "Dinosaur Office" and I'll just nod. Hope it keeps going strong in the USA for a while.

They should make more of the videos downloadable from eShop for small price. I love the Kid Icarus ones and recently the great Pikmin-videos. Links Hijinks is strange on the other hand.

I thought the same thing.  Make something like Dragonball Z available for $1 an episode and I'd buy 'em all despite already having DBZ on my PC and PS3.  When 3DS was first announced, they made it seeem like downloading 3D videos would be the norm.  It hasn't even come close to fruition, yet.
