Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why is xbone failing in sales?

it's Simple really microsoft's X1 cannot compete with sony's PS4 at the same price point wold wide, Now X1 is weaker hardware and 100$ more expensive, and gamers are more informed then ever and know the ps4 is better hardware, the only way X1 xould have really competed was by having nearly the same power at 349$, but now they chose to make it much weaker and 100$ for the the sake of adding kinect, something that nobody cares about anymore, anyway i'm happy sony is dominating its the only one focused of making a machine thats puts gaming first.

Just lol.

- $100 more, weaker hardware.
- Used Games Policy, 24 hours check ins still doing their thing. Many people lost their trust with the Xbox brand that day. Kinect is also still an issue for a lot of people.
- Sony basically doing everything right with the PS4 what they did wrong with the PS3.
- Microsoft's focus on other forms of entertainment besides gaming.

Compared to Xbox 360: No, doing great. Compared to PS4 (especially 2014): Kinda bad. Europe almost achieves a 5:1 ratio.

It isn't selling badly at all.
