I only read the title.

Dude, what the fuck? I'm black but I have friends of many races and it comes up all the time. Nobody gets offended and nobody really cares who says what. You need to open up your mind a bit. There's NOTHING wrong with conversation. I wish there were more of it.

Precisely what I want.

I'm asking because it seems like there's a lot of backlash (at least at my school) when white people try to enter the conversation and "don't say the right things." Instead of discussion and correction, there's just more tension and yelling of how terrible and ignorant white people are. It's frusterating and divisive, at least to me.

How do your conversations about race relations usually end up? I'm curious.

Just read the OP. Yeah, there's uneducated and bigoted people of every race, size, shape, and age. Don't let them discourage you from expressing yourself. No matter what you do, somebody out there is going to disapprove of it. Speak your mind.

I can see there is no point in talking about this with you, you are going to defend a known murder........

I'm not defending him. But if he is a murderer what are all the US presidesidents since Kennedy?

All of those with kill lists, instability regurgiators in democratic nations, insterests and proxy wars. White House has blood painted all over its walls and you look elsewhere and hide your tail.

That he turned away from this is the virtue of the accomplishment. Why do folks like Yasser Arafat get the Nobel Peace Prize?

I just do not see how anyone can defend Mandela after the actions he has done

Because he peaceably ended Apartheid! (along with F.W. De Klerk, who doesn't quite get the recognition). Just like how folks remember Andrew Carnegie for the countless libraries and concert halls, and not for the massacres at the Homestead Strike. I mean, i'm not keen on strike-breaking at all, but the guy deserves credit for what he did later.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Multiethnicity is relevant mainly in countries where white populace is the majority so yes, definitely. The people of a country should have a say in what kinds of people they let in their country.

They usually start with "Why do black people...." or something like that.  Goes from there.  I usually date different races so a few of my white friends ask about the differences in different races of women.  In the end, it usually turns to sex.  We've never tried to change the world.  Never discussed politics.  Just a conversation with no agenda.

Why not? All races whether you are asians, african american, american, european, Maori and so on should be treaty as equal. No races are superior over the others . Those who do say white are the superior race ,, are delusional and need psychiatric help . Plus being a culturally diversed groups allows people to be understand and learn about various cultures in the world.

It shouldn't even be a question.
