Should white people be allowed in the conversation of multiethnicity?

Dude, what the fuck? I'm black but I have friends of many races and it comes up all the time. Nobody gets offended and nobody really cares who says what. You need to open up your mind a bit. There's NOTHING wrong with conversation. I wish there were more of it.

Precisely what I want.

I'm asking because it seems like there's a lot of backlash (at least at my school) when white people try to enter the conversation and "don't say the right things." Instead of discussion and correction, there's just more tension and yelling of how terrible and ignorant white people are. It's frusterating and divisive, at least to me.

How do your conversations about race relations usually end up? I'm curious. 

They usually start with "Why do black people...." or something like that.  Goes from there.  I usually date different races so a few of my white friends ask about the differences in different races of women.  In the end, it usually turns to sex.  We've never tried to change the world.  Never discussed politics.  Just a conversation with no agenda.
