We know they helped with The Order: 1886 and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, and that they were working on at least 1 PS4 game. It's possible they were also working with some Indie developers bringing their games to PS4.

you know nothing.

Is that better?

I can't help but feel that the AAA bubble is becoming too large for it's own good. Everybody is so concerned with getting the next Call of Duty or the next Halo, they're not realizing that the margins for profits are getting smaller, and that they're spending more than is feasible on AAA games. Just one failed project can lead to the shut down of an entire company or studio. Hopefully the indies can step in and save this industry, we need them too.

Yes Sony as a company operates everyday. One day things can be OK and the next they find out they need to trim some fat. I don't understand why people don't get this.

That of course sucks for the people that got laid of, but I'm gonna be an egotistical asshole here and hope that the canceled project was just a Vita game.
Well, if the PS4 is easier to develop for, and they got the right SDK and applications to produce and develop more and faster with less people, it does make a little sense to trim down the studio's organisation.

Going from Its all so good were gona move to a larger place and hire even more to hell shit hit the fan in 2 months on a period Santa Monica didnt even release any game so you cant say they ahd any kind of financial crisis because theyre big project didnt work is quite extreme. Also there are a bazillion places that are way less sucessfull than Santa Monica to trim fat, this is a very odd move if it was a big lay-off from a core team at the Studio, if it was a small team working on a small game that got layed-off (while it sucks) would make much more sense.
