Pokemon are under more scruntity, cause they can only put so many pokemon in the game so they want to have the most relevant. Pikachu is effectively, the Mascot of Pokemon so he will always be relevant.

That's not what I'm saying. Pichu wasn't removed just because he was a "clone" or he had bad moves, he just lost relevance in Pokemon.

Brawl is servely unbalanced imo, but I said that only pokemon are held under this level of scrutiny. Mario and pretty much everyone else you mentioned are basically mainstays.

In total, probably. Recently I doubt it. Mewtwo also had more movies and Manga appereances then Lucario.
