That is if they know business and how video game company's make their money, which is off software not the hardware. Hardware will always lose the company money for the first 2-3 years its released. Now with that being said, Go onto the most software sold all time and guess who has all ten spots, thats right Nintendo.

Okay, so let's take a look at software sales: in a few weeks the PS3 software sales will surpass the DS software sales... leading to 3 playstation systems in the top 5.
The Wii is still at position 3, but the software gap to 360 and PS3 is closing fast. At the end of this year, 360 software sales will have surpassed Wii software sales... in the last 10 weeks the gap between them shrunk from 63.2 to 37 millions.
And next year, PS3 software sales could also surpass Wii software sales... in the last 10 weeks the gap between them shrunk from 132 to 103.5 millions.

Counting in digital sales, both 360 and PS3 software sales probably already surpassed Wii software sales. Sony is really pushing digital sales with great bargains every month, Microsoft's digital promotions like the "XBL Ultimate Game Sale" are less frequent and Nintendo's ambitions to sell Wii games digitally are... nonexistant.
