Who are you kidding? Netflix on the Wii U is great, just as good as the PS3 if not better. |
Well my experience with it hasn't been so glowing. And it SHOULD be better than an eight year old console.

Oh, and the Youtube App is the same app that's available on Smart TV's, cell phones, PS3, Xbox 360, Vita, Wii, 3DS, etc (but not on PS4 in any form, yet). If Youtube on the Wii U is a joke, it's a joke everywhere. And if you don't want to use the app, use the browser.

WTF?! So You just LOOOVEEE watching HD videos on the Wii U YouTube app? It works really good for you? Please, tell me details.
I eagerly await the--
--description of how awesome and effortless watching a five minute HD video on the Wii U YouTube App--
--is for you and how it's something that you have no problems with because it never--
--buffers even though you have a--
--50 Mbps internet connection.

That's not a valid argument. The Netflix app on the PS3/360 have all gone through multiple updates. Do you want me to say the Wii U Netflix App is better than the mobile, desktop, and comparable to the Smart TV ones as well? Because I will.
It might truly just be your internet, even though that does sound like a cop out answer.

Better than an 8 year old console?! It's Netflix. What do you want? More movies? It's got the same layout as most other devices (and I use Netflix on a LOT of different devices--3DS, Smart TV, 360, PS3, phone, tablet, laptop, Wii, Wii U) except that you can jump into it from TVii and it has info on the pad while you watch the movie--or you can watch it on the pad. Only 360 has a different layout from what I've seen.
What happened when you watched it on Wii U?

It's not my internet. I have very fast internet and it works great on all my other devices. But the Wii U Netflix app isn't so bad compared to the YouTube one.

The YouTube app loads for me, although it is lacking in channel search and... well, the like system. At least I think it is. Although, it does load videos well enough and they don't look pixelated, in my case.

Watching HD YouTube videos for me is a buffer-ridden slogfest.
It works fine for me, it was basically the only thing I did today.
