star wars battlefront 3, yes i know they are making a new one, its not the same
Metal Gear Rising, the original made by Kojima studios, not that Platinum stuff. The orginal looked like they were going to incoporate actual Metal Gear gameplay in interesting ways.

After playing shenmue 2 I bought a dream cast to play shenmue so..........I probably would. If sega made a new console I think they'd come prepared. If they pay attention to anything they'd know what has to be done.
I like to see stories through to the end, even if they were bad stories, shenmue was compelling. it put a few clever eliments in the story that kept you guessing and trying to predict how things would play out, like lan dee probably being the master lady's brother. etc
Outcast 2. :'(
The cancelation broke my heart, though the development might not have been following the spirit of the original. Still, I'd love to have played the sequel even if I was disappointed.

More recently Star Wars 1313 being a Star Wars-fan, if that was ever a real thing, though I didn't really know enough to be truly bummed out by it. If it were still to come, I wouldn't get it anymore because, well... EA.
I already told this story in another similar thread some time ago, but it's another thing EA related which game's cancellation truly made me upset. Not coincidentally, this is also a big reason I've not been buying anything even remotely related to that publisher for almost as long as this particular incident but there's more to it.
That game, is 'Simsville'.
For those that don't know, before Maxis was seized by EA, they published a game called 'Sim Town' as part of their simulation series that comprised of games like 'Sim Earth', 'Sim Ant', 'Sim Tower' and of course 'SimCity'. 'Sim Town' was like the kiddy-version of 'SimCity', with the player only managing a single neighborhood instead of a full city. I'd played this game a fair amount of time. 'Simsville' was to be the long-awaited sequel to 'Sim Town' and would combine elements from the recently released 'The Sims' with elements from 'SimCity 4', which was still early in development at that time. The game would've been 'The Sims' without having to make people go the bathroom and with making more houses and more other functions beside those.
As we know however EA took over Maxis during that time after already having published 'SimCity 3000' shortly before and cancelled 'Simsville' to shelve a lot of the game's mechanics and ideas which would loosely be recycled in a tacked-on way in later games like both sequels to 'The Sims' and in 'SimCity 4' itself.
Luckily EA didn't get the chance to get it's paws on 'SimCity 4', so that game is one of the best games ever made in my opinion, but the damage was done. I wanted 'Simsville', bad.

You can play Starfox 2 on emulation. I think its quite a short game but worth a blast. Not a patch on the original star fox or the N64 game though.
