Both Killzone and InFamous will surpass easily it's predecessors. I'm not saying the franchises grew, but launch titles usually sells a lot. Resistance: Fall of Man is way above it's 2 sucessors.
Yikes at X1! Its barely selling in Europe.
The 360 is incredibly low as well.
The PS4's momentum is slowing down. 50k in NA is not fantastic.

I wasn't mocking Nintendo but the stupid journalists saying that LR is crap and that BD is the new FF. People voted with their wallets and proved them wrong. |
actually, bravely default is the "old new" final fantasy, that's why it's good.
and with ps360 US installed bases being quite above the 3ds worldwide base, it's really bad for FF 13-3 to only be this little above BF. and I'm sure BF is more profitable due to costs.

Beg your pardon? LR PS3 outsold all the lego games combined in this chart |
My bad. It was close, tough.

People have been playing on their mobile phones for years so even without the Wii smartphone gaming would be just as big right now, that type of gaming just naturally grew with the number of smartphone owners it had nothing to do with the Wii. |
I would sayit grew with the hardware power of these owners and the more easy way to distribute games (App Store and Google Play). I remember in 2007 when a Nokia N95 with a 335 Mhz CPU and 160MB of RAM was a totally high-end device. 2 years later we had 1GHz CPU, 4 years and we got dual core processors. Since the iPhone, these devices got a lot of power and screen resolution to achieve a good gaming experience.

Sure but that was also a natural part of the smartphone development and had nothing to do with the Wii or something. ;)
