I wouldnt mind this, but do I need to have yet another remote? Most likely yes.

there is a device for people who need numbers on a remote: your old remote.

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

This remote is designed to help you listen, watch and switch among experiences instantly – allowing you to rule your entertainment.

I thought that was what Kinect was for. I thought buttons are stupid.

This is in no way flaming the Kinect but that's a pretty conflicting message from MS now.

What do people do which are mute?!

So you think MS had only those people in mind when designing the remote? (also they can probably use hand gestures and the controller)

I'm never against more options but this remote won't help setting their message straight. They were the ones claiming the Kinect was essential to the product. Now it seems they were able to replace it by a simple remote.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

You guys are too funny. One minute you are mad that you have to use the Kinect. THe next minute you tell M$ that they can't give you options via a handheld remote. Everyone seems to want more options, but only if Sony provides them. Just ignore it if you don't want it like any other accessory.

It is near the end of the end....

Yeah, you are absolutely right. I wasn't serious at all ;)

You cannot give gamers options and innovation. You'll be mistrusted and your actions questioned.
Might as well just slap a newer video card and a faster GPU and call it next gen.

So this uses the same wireless protocol as the wireless controllers? Since it still needs the Kinect to blast IR signals, there probably is no TV pointing here. It can probably control your Xbox One from another room.
