Bungie Say Destiny’s Single Player Will Be Like No Other

Online Multiplayers have taken over the gaming world. The Online Multiplayer has become an important part of video games nowadays. This is the reason why most developers and publishers concentrate more on the multiplayer aspect of their games rather then the single player or campaign. Player want a single player that blows them away and this is one of the goals Bungie has with Destiny.

Bungie’s Community Manager, David Dague, talked about Destiny’s single player. He said, “We don’t discourage players from doing what they love. In Destiny, you’ll have full control over your level of engagement.

“If you want to fight as a Fireteam of one, you’ll still have a blast as a lone gunman in our living, social world. We still think that everything that’s fun to do is more fun with your friends, so we’ll do our best to encourage players to leave their comfort zones in search of new experiences and sweet rewards,” Dague said.

With all that said, it will be interesting to see how Bungie support Destiny’s single player and how will the single player be in relation to Destiny’s multiplayer.

Gamers still want to experience a single player that is exciting and fun. Like the single player games like Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted, GTA, etc provide.

Destiny comes out on the 9th of September, 2014. On the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U.

I am still confused. Will I be able to play single player game without internet connection? Or is it co-op type single play missions?

Neither as they say its "Like no other"  or there lying :)

That's so good to hear. If they nail this concept it could be the first truly next gen experience. I just worry that this being on 6 platforms might limit the potential and focus, but I wont question bungie at this point, haha

It's really funny to think that 10-15 years ago I was always going; "This is so cool! I wish for the future that we can play multiplayer and co-op in everything!" and nowadays, I find myself constantly thinking; "This is getting stupidly old, I wish there was a lot more focus on good single player experiences."

Destiny is on my "maybe" list, I'm not a Bungie fan at all but this game has some potential.

And that is why I'm pretty hyped for it. The world looks like it will be awesome to explore by myself and occasionally with other if I so wish. If this game was strictly, "no you have to play with 3 or more people" then I would not be buying it.
