It's actually a good question. Halo 5 is coming out next spring, so that could put it against titanfall two.

I think it's too early to say.

What!?  You think titanfall 2 will be out next spring?  Respawn isnt that big of a studio, there is no way.  Besides, havent they already said they are shooting for a new title every three years?

I do. Also do you have a link about the three year thing?

http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/17042/article/titanfall-battlefront-and-battlefield-comprise-ea-s-shooter-rotation/

"Instead of pumping out a sequel to a single franchise each and every year, EA is looking to keep the gaming community interested through rotation. We’ve seen Battlefield and Medal of Honor take turns on a yearly basis in the past, but the critical and commercial stumble that was Warfighter put that duo to rest. Now, EA Labels boss Frank Gibeau believes the company has three major shooters that should each be able to pull their own weight:Battlefield, Titanfall, and Battlefront.

“The shooter rotation we think about now is Battlefield, Titanfall and Battlefront, and so we like those three brands going forward," Gibeau told CVG. "We're working out how we're going to line that up because that's what you'll see from us.

What portion of the calendar year will each franchise stick to? That’s a little hazy at this time, as we’re unsure when the latest Battlefront game will launch. But these are the three pillars that will support EA’s shooter empire, and as you’d guess, Medal of Honor is nowhere to be found."

Both games are coming out at opposite times of the year. They would heavily counter each other if Halo 5 and Titanfall released at the same time. In this case Titanfall will be an old game when Halo 5 comes out. Halo 5 will sell like hot cakes so will Titanfall.

No... just... no.

Titanfall is so overhyped it's disgusting.

By us or everyone else? All the E3 awards?

It's getting downplayed too much here, it's disgusting.

Church...

I don't personally like titanfall in its current form, perhaps in future with more content or expanding upon early concepts I will.
One thing I will say however is if its giving any game the back seat that game will be call of duty, and to me that's a good thing, in that regard hell yes titanfall, kick some ass.

I just hope future versions are released on ps4 and potentially wiiu too, while I don't personally like it a lot of people do, so it would be nice if more people got the chance to play it.

Titanfall will likely outsell Halo 2 Anniversary, but it doesn't stand a chance against Halo 5.

Thanks for the link. That's three games, not three years for each game though. Battlefeild came out a few months ago and Titanfall is about to come out. Nothing indicates Battlefront is releasing anytime soon, so that means EA will either not release a big game next holiday/spring or else TF or BF will get another game. My money is on Titanfall.
