Forums - Sony - Ouya is doomed

I haven't even seen an Ouya in the shops to buy one......

Some kind of "T-Fall releasing on March 11th on... PS4!" title would surely have been more appropriate.

If Matt Thorson releases An Untitled Story on PSN I will buy a PS4. 100%. Put my money down immediately.

Metroidvania awesomeness.

What I am looking at?

I linked a video. The game plays much, much better than it appears.

I've seen more UFO's than Ouya's!

This makes me want a Cave Story sequel. Watched the video, and the platforming looks really well done. However, I don't want to be a graphic whore, but this art style isn't working for me. It seems more lazy than artistic even though I know they are trying to be artistic.

It was a one-man effort. He did all programming, design, art and music. I don't think it was trying to be art so much as an efficient way to get the gameplay he wanted out.

If you're looking for pure platforming from him with a palatable art style, try Jumper Redux:

This pleases me. Just beat practice stage 3-1 and died too many times, but getting through it was magnificent.

Interesting thing: Super Meat Boy copied THIS game. The character design isn't a coincidence.

The Ouya was always irrelevant since it catered to the needs of the hardcore instead of what the market wanted ...

If you are joking, congrats. I giggled.

If not... why don't the hardcore want a proper Start button?

Don't ask me ... Go and ask them instead if you want some answers.
