Sounds a lot like brink which was an epic fail for campaign... with stupid AI of no use at all... However, the MP portion looks like it is putting some real use of the MS servers to prevent the gameplay from being bogged down with AI computations, which was one of the main issues with brink. The second was everyone only played the one game mode with bots instead of without...

The AI is basically the most retarded thing I have seen in video gaming. Maybe the auto-titans are alright, but the grunts are just pathetic. They basically offer 0 resistance

But if this did have a story campaign, I'd be much more interested than I am at the moment

I have not played the game but I have watched my GFs brother play the beta for about an hour and it seriously looks like CoD with mechs and dumb AI. It looked solid if you enjoy CoD but I hate CoD so it had no appeal to me
