Yea, most people think less than Wii U becaise no japanese centric games. Ill look for the thread
I was in Virginia the day the ps4 hit na(which is when I got mine) was in the UK on the day ps4 hit Europe and am currently in South Korea (same time zone at least) for the next few weeks. So with the exception of the Asia launch (was in hawaii) I have been where the PS4 launched when it did.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

i call bs - and say it will have a better launch

In a weird way I am a little excited for Japan to finally get their hands on a PS4 after all the months of seeing and hearing of everyone else around the world really enjoying it. Too bad Sony hasnt done more in their updates up to now.

I couldnt find the thread unfortunately but i distinctly remember commenting to the people saying Ps4 has no games that interest japanese gamers that japanese are interested in the same stuff we are even though the games might not sell FF levels. Those games are just a beast. I also remember defending some people saying 400-500k saying its probably because they think it will do better than Wii U. Too many people use the word "predict" in their title though so google popped out a bunch of threads.
Wii U did well in Japan first week so Id be happy if it matches (which i think it will)
