^everytime i see that same old sorry excuse i chuckle to myself.

Fact - Sony could afford the ONE price drop
Fact - Sony still outsold it
Fact - Sony will outsell 360s 2nd year by 4-5mil

If a whole year without any competition isn't a massively crazy advantage in it's self then I don't know what else could be.

Please this is a disscussion on current sales events, adhere from trolling. State what you must for arguement sake sure but don't cross the line.

How much do you think the PS3 will have in the extra 4months? I say about 2-3million.

Anyways, This is a joy to see after so long with all the negativity surrounding not just the PS3 but it's fanbase too. I can't tell you how insane people had pegged the PS3 for failure just 6months ago..but I'm sure you al remember very well.

The PS3 is poised to over take the 360 by the end of this year obviously and will certainly over take the wii by the end of 2009.

 I'm just proud of all the PS3 fans that endured all the FUD that was blasted relentlessly on every single PS3 forum on the net and still stood strong in their belief about the capabilities of the PS3 regardless of the insane anti-viral slander.

 Big big thumbs up to all fellow PS3 supporters. You all rock!

 


 Obviously? Because it outsells the X360 on a weekly basis of 50K? it will take years to pass it this way.

Taking over the Wii ;;.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD.

go sony and i found xboxs all year around... plus sony did no come out in "others" wii and 360 did so heres to sony....all they said came true. nice onlince service Blu-ray movies are number 1 its so awesome to be a sony fan.

how is "they dropped the price" a reasonable argument? it would be a decent argument if they weren't reducing production costs constantly, if the ps3 still cost 800$+ to make, then it might be a reasonable argument, if they can afford it, why not drop the price. they had to do it eventually, it wasnt going to sell at 600$ for its entire lifespan. it still costs more than the 360.

poor xbots, grasping at straws.

Uhmmm, so what does it say when a console launched a year later, being more expensive, was prey to the most crazy anti-viral smear campaign ever, had two massive competition to deal with and "no" games to speak off... and still sold better/faster than the 360? Wow.


Great observation. I'm really pleased to see the Ps3 outperforming the xbox and I hope Sony maintains this momentum throughout this generation.

Alright then tell that to the guy who just called us xbots...wait hes not a troll since hes on your side.

Almost everyone in the first year did not touch a 360.....what was the point with the almighty ps3 coming out. That all changed when the ps3 price was announced.

I am ps3 fan as well but its pretty hard not to see why it beat it
