Unfortunately it's a coincidence, DK is just about to launch, MK8 just got it's rekease date, things which always cause games to shoot up the Amazon chart for a few days. It isn't usually very meaningful, unless you get a game sitting in the top positions for weeks on end, which I do not expect certainly from DK, and even MK8 may struggle until nearer its release

Amazon doesn't mean anything unless we're talking PS4 sales.
