Yes, i dont see why wiiu would have a problem if GCN did it, 3DS however cn its just with 4 players then there are 8 of them O.o

I'm gonna say no. I don't think there will be that many more characters added from here on out. They've said there won't be as many as Brawl, and if they're going to pick a character to represent the old games that no one really plays anymore, they'll use Game & Watch. He has a much better gaming legacy and has been around as long as Ice Climbers in SSB. Everyone who seems to think only a few characters will be taken out are hyping this game too much and need to lower their expectations, or the amount of anger in these SSB threads is going to skyrocket to horrific levels.

I disagree, Ice Climbers can make it back. We have 18 veterans return out of 35. I think we'll have 40-42 in the final roster. That said there will be many cuts, here are my opinions on the matter...

Great Chance~ Metaknight+Falco+Ice Climbers

Maybe?~ Wario+R.O.B+Mr. Game and Watch+Ganondrf

Did you forget that a character from Wario's game is already an assist trophy? Ashley? She'd be really out of place if he's not in there. 100% chance of Wario. As I said, Mr. Game and Watch has a better chance than Ice Climbers, I'd put him at great chance and Ice Climbers at not likely. Ganondorf I'd put at great chance, with the only chance of him not being in is if they choose a different Zelda villain. Also you forgot Sheik, which I'd put at great chance since Zelda is in.

Question, when do you think we'll know all the characters? They've been revealing only about one or two a month for a while, but that leaves maybe 10 characters if they reveal characters straight up to the release, which seems like it'd be hard for them to do, introducing new characters so late in development. I kind of think we might know most of the characters after E3. Possibly they'll start ramping up reveals of info like they did before Brawl, showing off more than just charcters on the site. When was the last character for Brawl revealed before its release?

I hope so they were very different.

Bomberman and Pacman in? Adding that to Megaman? It's like one of my fantasies coming true :'). Unfortunately it's not going to happen.

The ice climbers were originally chosen to represent the NES. We have little Mac now, then again he also was on Wii. Hm...

Now there 18 revealed(23  counting Newcomers), SSB wont come out anytime soon, i say Oct-Dec release. Thats awhile from now, even if they reveal 10 characters (lets say 7 more veterans, 3 newcomers), you have to remember that there are secret characters! They dont show everybody cuzthat would spoil the entire game!

SSBB had 35 characters (39 technically but 35 slots). Out of the 39 total characters, 27 were revealed (though Sonic+Snake were to be unlockable) which makes 10 unnannounced characters!

So SSB4 is already at 23 while nowhere near release vs SSBB 27(this includes Sheik+ZSS+Pokemon Trainers other 2). 

The only thing i find weird is that out of the 23 characters, i see 3 of the them being unlockables

I might not appear in smash threads frequently (or at all? ) but I've played a lot of Melee, and Ice Climbers were far, far from my favorite there Not a strong opponent, either.

So I say no.
