Well this thread was pointless.

It's pointless because the first 4 people responding disagree? Give it time.

What exactly is bringing you to this conclusion besides MGS V:GZ being 720p 60fps? Even at those specs I don't see anything close on Wii U. Until I see a full life-like game that looks as good as Ryse, Wii U is gonna be that small gap ahead of last gen.

Around the Network

There is a night and day difference between the WiiU and Xbox One, not only in terms of performance but in sheer capability too.

MGS:GZ is probably a bad example of a game that pushes hardware, the assets are pretty much the same across all platforms be it last gen or current gen.

The power-gap between the Xbox One and Playstation 4, really is, in the grand scheme of things... Insignificant, next to the glorious ever-improving power of the ultimate platform... The PC. - All your games are belong to us, eventually.

Best looking console game is a Xbox One exclusive. That should give you the answer.

You mean the 900p/18~30fps game? Sorry but it's easier to make a linear game look good when you sacrifice the framerate/resolution.

It's hard to do direct comparisons since many people believe third party Wii U games have very little effort put into them. That leaves us to comparing exclusives. Take X. It looks great and is an open world game just like Ground Zeros. Some Wii U fans believe it'll be in 1080p at 60fps, but let's just assume it's 720p at 30fps. If visuals between the two games are pretty close technically, then 720p 60fps Ground Zeros on XBONE would be significantly closer to Wii U's X than the 1080p 60fps PS4 version of GZ. If the rumors are true that the PS4 version of MGS has a better framerate, than the XBONE port is even closer to X. 720p locked 30fps is close to 720p 60fps with dips in terms of power.

It's the best looking console game on screenshots :)

Also Forza is the best looking racing game in photo mode.

Just excuse me, I'm gonna play some screenshots.

Comparing an exclusive to a cross gen multiplat? Nice.
