The failure of the X1 can only be measured with the exit from the market. If that doesnt happen, i have no idea what Microsoft would do with it. And that exit would definitly benefit the Wii U. But ofc, this is all conjecture at this point. If X1 stick around despite losses, the Wii U wont see any meaningful benefits. |
No it wont benefit Wii U, not by much. It would benefit PS4 much more. If you wanted an xbone and all of a sudden it isnt around for whatever reason. Are you more likely to get the next closest thing? or something completly different. Fact is PS4 is closer to Xone than Wii U is, not even a contest. Spec wise and library wise. And if not PS4 then a gaming PC which is still closer to xone than WIi U is.
