November, December 2012 and January 2013 were good months for WiiU, but people need to remember what happened in February 2013....... Yes, the announcement of PS4 and basically, the real next gen. After that annoucement nobody cared about WiiU anymore.

People just wanted next gen graphics and when they knew the next ps and xbox were coming for real in 2013, people just forgot about WiiU.

I don't think is the same for Xbox One. If the sales are less than WiiU a year ago, i want to presume is because 3 factors:
-It sold a lot more than WiiU in November and December.
-Have to fight alongside Ps4
-Cost 500$.

XB1 sold more in US in its first Jan then WiiU did in US + Europe.

Indeed. I expect a fierce battle between Xbox One and the Vita TV in Japan.

Wii U costs a lot less than One, Wii U never had a next gen competitor at the time, and Wii U's been available in more markets during the same time. Unfair comparison.

Xbox One will do great in America. Once its killer apps are released it will compensate for its poor performance in Europe and likely Japan.
