This is a load of crap. Honestly. What you can say with proof is that the ps4 is stronger than the Wii u, but people have been raving that their is a huge gap between xbox one and ps4 and that is a load of crap. xbox one games that are 720p is because developers took ps4 as priority. They have literally nearly the same specifications, almost exactly the same EVERYTHING. So their is no physical possible way the ps4 is considerably more powerful than the xbox one. Developers are seeing the success of the ps4 over the one and choseing to spend more time polishing and enhancing ps4 games rather than one games, thats the only reason for this

?? PS4 took priority? So the tech specs for all the world to see mean nothing? The ps4 is more powerfull period..please. The gpu and memory are a lot better on PS4..fact, more dilusions.
The Ps4 has 40% more compute power in its GPU, it's a higher end GPU, with more memory bandwidth on top if that. Explain how that is NOT more powerfull. I await your technical breakdown.
Explain in technical terms how there is no way the ps4 is more powerfull then x1 when in fact the hardware is much better? Please explain.

please don't take this "40% better" crap. Who made this number up? Possibly somebody from MS to belittle the gap in power. There is nothing on PS4 that is just 40% faster. The theoretical actual gap between PS4 and XB1 ranges between 50% and 200% (not just by 40%). That idiotic number was created after the megahertz boost to the XB1, which does only make up for the reserved power for the Kinect and Hyper-V and 2 OSes running simultaneously. PS4 has no such issues hampering its performance.
Even worse, this is the best XB1 can achieve (50+% theoretical performance gap) if the developers can get the ESRAM implementation right. As of now the gap is much larger than this due to the much faster RAM (2.5x the performance). However, this is all THEORETICAL, and none of the third party developers are pushing for the PS4 potential (which is complete opposite of what Thoridias said).
What developers are doing is develop the games on a lowest common denominator, with minor tweaks for each console.
- Try to push the resolution on XB1 to acceptable levels given the ESRAM limitations and framerate
- Try to maintain an ideal performance on PS4 with given tradeoff between frame rate and graphic fidelity
- Try to address to the maximum audience with flexible graphics settings and few driver issues.
