MGS:GZ 1080P @ 60 fps confirmed?
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It's obvious you don't. Most console gamers don't care about PC games, as that's not just a different platfrom, but a different experience alltogether. The gamer population would be smaller than 20 million if console gaming didn't exist. |
can you give a source for this or did you pull it straight out of your ass
So I can safely assume that all the people saying PS4's 'best processor' makes it the only logical gaming choice this gen were Gamecube-only gamers back in gen six? If not, they're being sort of hypocritical.

Why we dont hear this ps4 argument when there's a PC version of a game? : |
Because PS4 is more powerfull than most of PCs at the moment, thus making a PC version not objectively better than a PS4 version?

While I agree that gameplay/design/plot etc... are far more important than eye candy, it is only natural that with the evolution of hardware, the 'bar' for gaming quality across all categories should rise. I still don't understand WHY with 8g of RAM and 8 core CPU's, developers are struggling with 1080p/60fps. It took less horsepower to achieve those metrics on PC, years ago. And no, this isn't a masturbation session about the superiority of PC gaming, it's me wondering how developers are struggling, when the resources are so ridiculously high.

While that is true Noble, a lot of us are also genuinely interested in graphics and technology. Thats a big part of the fun for me when it comes to next gen.

If that was the case you'd be a PC gamer , only need for consoles would be exclusives

Some people find comfort in denial.
I enjoy bathing my eyes in the PS4's graphics on a big screen and feeling like it's 2014. Distracts from other things in the world that suck and haven't really improved for 10 years.

Its not so much about struggling to hit 1080p 60FPS...
But more about hitting those benchmarks along with "next gen" visuals.
Not to mention that the PS4 has a gpu that is equivalent to a hd7850 and cpu that is pretty weak. So all the ram in the world will only do so much. Same goes for the number of cpu cores...i would argue that a high clocked 4th gen dual core i3 processor from intel would probably do better than the 8 core cpu running in ps4/X1.
