and from the impressions link, there's people commenting that they're still doing missions 5 hours in, so you can't assume the other 91% of the game will be "collectables" for Trophies/Gamerscore

As just as another reference, akin to the one I made for MGS4 being "an hour and a half": Fallout 3 can be beaten in 40 minutes if you do nothing but main missions.....just in case the "90 minutes to beat the main missions" on GZ was still a turn off after going through the link I just provided. Yet you can end up putting 100+ hours in F3.... 

I think this current console war is beyond belief.

Just like the twin gods Stone and Parker prophesized.

Well it isnt.  But I wouldn't have responded, why would I need to?

I responded here because I think it is a bit shitty by konami.

If its a fully fledged game I wouldnt have aproblem with it... what do you want me to do? congratulate every multiplat that looks better? lol

What a bunch of whiny losers ...

MGS GZ update: played through all missions (about 5 hours) but still only at 22%, according Snake's chain smoking menu screen.

Just chalked off another Side Op, which involved running from a tank. Been playing 4 hours now and apparently at 18% complete

Finished GZ for the first time in about 90 minutes. Total game completion? 9%. I think that tells you all you need to know.

Well I am a HUGE Sony and MGS fan and I kind of agree with Kowen...not sure why so many of your are attacking him for having an opinion. To me for this to be the next installment in the MGS universe and only be 2 hours long according to reports... that is unacceptable and seems like a lazy job in my eyes.

This is the man whose games usually have atleast 7-9hrs of game play(if you ignore everything else there is to do) with amazing cut scenes and game play. As a TRUE fan 2hrs just seems like a slap in the face. I was looking forward to this game but now I will just wait until it is cheaper to pick the game up. So GET OFF HIS back..he has a VERY VALID point...geez people! Amazing how some people forget even as a MS fan one of his favorite games of last gen was wait for it....Uncharted 1! Which was basically a launch title and it was a gem still considered by some to be the best of the franchise.

Pointless attacks are silly just because someone has a different opinion than others so chill folks...peace

I would if they did.  But your examples arent comparable, not even close. Even GT5 prologue isnt comparable to this imo.


I again agree with Kowen your examples are really not comparable(especially the TF one) and this is coming from someone who doesn't care for Forza and is not intot he TF hype.. I do not know why but Kowen gets a lot of backlash for...well nothing really. Well nothing outside of being a MS fan which is a silly reason if you ask me.

I bought Gt5p for cheap (and it seems original price was 40 but not sure), e content than most games, but I'll evaluate better when I get it (won't pay full price even if 40 on a main mode of 90min... Even tough most snes gen games could be beaten in less than 30min.
