Problem is its 6v6, has so-so graphics, has not shooting realism or destruction.

BF2142 had mechs, future tech and surpassed all of those items above by a lot on hardware that was less powerful than Wii U.

Again, its a game that showed a ton of promise that has had more and more info come out that is meh to sub-meh.

Yet you never played it yet.

People who hate this game think "Being pumped about a game about to come out" = "overhyping"

Last I checked, video game fans get excited about upcoming releases. The buzz isn't just coming from internet forum users.

People get excited about games. Imagine that.

This is also the generation where people seem most obsessed by technical details. I am a gadget geek up to a point too but I like my gadgets so I can consume CONTENT. You can bet both your feet that if X1 had better specs I wouldn't spend all day in PS4 threads going 'Yeah, how's that sub-1080p/60hz working out for you? Still able to enjoy your blocky, aliased pile of CRAP!'

Because that's just layme with a capital DOUCHE

What made you pick 2 Sony games?

Aside from Titanfall, what other single game gets the most attention here in hype threads? The only other possible candidate is Donkey Kong Country, but I don't often see as many pure hype threads based around that game as I do the others. In the end it really is meaningless to me because people are allowed to like what they like, I just find the hypocrisy annoying when it comes to things those people don't like.

It's getting downplayed because it is a exclusive Xbox One game. That simple, the game has not been tried but all reviews say it's great. However I don't doubt a bunch of Sony fans will never play it but yet go get some random article from another pro sony site to prove there point. It will be great.

Except you know, it's not and xbox one exclusive and most pc from the past 4 or 5 years can play this game. Anyone that wants to play and not spend 500 to do so, most likely can.

Except that when I play it I'll be on Origin and you'll be on Xbox Live. My money for the game didn't go to Microsoft, nor did I purchase a Microsoft console to play it, nor will I be paying Microsoft a subscription to play it. If a game is PC exclusive no one says it's an Xbox exclusive too even if it's not on an Xbox console. For example, is StarCraft 2 an Xbox exclusive? No, of course not.

Those are the same people that wouldn´t give a shit to Tomb Raider before they know it was 20fps at average higher on PS4.

They will fight for every single missing pixel and dropping frame on this game.

Were people that pathetic all the time or just when it´s a console war?

And your point?

Clearly that PC games are now X1 exclusives because a PC uses Windows as an OS. I'm loving playing WoW atm a game which launched 9 years ago but is now an exclusive for a console which just launched somehow.

Regarding the hype for this game vs the downplay of hype for this game it goes both ways really, you can't have people saying "no it isn't" without people saying "yes it is" it just doesn't happen. Admittedly a lot of the game of the generation stuff is indeed from 1 person but that is just done for one reason and it's to rub a whole portion of this site up the wrong way, and it works fantastically well. If titanfall a game which launches just 5 months into this generation is indeed the only game worth talking about for the next 7 years or so I'll hang up any chances of picking up a new console right now, from any manufacturer, that thought alone as a gamer should worry a fan of any system.

100% agreed. I'm not buying it because I don't care for these kinds of FPS, but the amount of downplaying is insane.
