So far, we have a whopping 54 characters from eight main entries and two spinoffs.That's about two andf a half unique characters per voter.

Sometimes, these votes can be the same name or two over and over again. That's not happening this time.

5. Asche/Yuna (FFXII/X): Both to me, were strong female leads in their own unique ways
4. Ingus (FFIII): FF3 DS was my first FF and Ingus was the first character I really liked in the series, though he lacked much character
3. Rikku/Yuffie (FFX/VII): Both very similar characters, their upbeat attitudes were welcomed since both of the games they are in are a bit dark and gloomy
2. Balthier (FFXII): He was an over confident cocky smart ass which made him just awesome.
1. Auron (FFX): Smart, calm, and mysterious, he made everything in the game seem ok even when things looked bad and you could tell everyone trusted his advise, even if it was cryptic at times

(5 being least of my fave to 1 being my all time fave)

No love for FF2/3 or 5 guys?

Hmm... now there's a tough question.

From the top of my head I'll just enter the characters that made an impact. After that I'll sort out a top 5.

Sabin, Shadow, Cloud, Aerith, Vincent, Cid, XIII, Squall, Vivi, Zidane, Auron, Khimari, Balthier, Sazh, Zack.

It seems that 8 lacks a 'big' cast like 6,7 and 9 had. X follows closely and it's pretty obvious that FF's quality is declining with big steps after X. No memorable cast whatsoever from XII and XIII. Yeah just the 'cool' guy.

Hmm, seems like FF7 still made the biggest impact. Oh well, I just really really enjoyed the game at the time.
I'd also like to give props to Biggs and Wedge and Cid for their appearances throughout the series.
