Xbox Exclusives doing really good. Looking like they all will hit high marks world wide. Once Titanfall releases I can see all of them getting a small bump.

Err actually the opposite will most likely occur, at least for the week Titanfall is released because people will buy Titanfall.

Yea but that's like saying the wind blows, Titanfall will push hardware by a huge amount so more people will be in a position to buy those games. And don't take it so personally dude, chill..

Titanfall GOAT and B(eyond) confirmed by a lot of users here, so I would predict at least a attach ratio of 200%.

Not trying to be funny or nothing but ACTUALLY that's not what you said either. You said "Once Titanfall releases I can see all of them getting a small bump." which is vague so it is kind of understandable that he thought you were reffering to the week of. Not a big deal just wanted to point that out.

This really shows how important E3 is to consumer impressions/decisions.

Yeah, this is all due to E3. Obviously

I don't own either console but this has everything to do with the initial console reveals and E3.     Xbox / Microsoft is now the anti-consumer brand, and Sony is where it's at.

Yeah, in an alternate reality where everyone and their grandma watches E3, maybe. All that matters now is what the consoles cost and what they are like. PS4 is cheaper, it has the WW brand power AND it is more powerful. It basically has everything going for it, not only E3.

I don't think you understand how E3 works. The idea is, you wow the geeks, media and hard core gamers at E3, and then those people spread the word. This trickles down and has an effect. PS4 was coined the "it" thing after that show by those people which means the majority of people who DON'T watch the show, will now spend the time leading up to launch reading/hearing how it's the next big thing. They then go out and want a PS4.

I see no evidence for that. The fact that 60% of PS4 owners own a Vita means that current PS4 buyers are mostly core Sony fans.

I don't think there's a trickle-down at all. I think it's a massive insular hype vortex between games media and game forum users, who are a tiny subset of all game customers.

There's aren't enough of us for that to be true lol. If we're talking launch numbers, I could agree to a small degree but not now. These numbers are not coming from people like us. They're coming from dude bros and mainstream gamers.

^This!

Some people don't understand why PS4 is selling that much if the first party game are few(for now). But the true is,sony build the hype among hardcores and media so this guys make the free ad.The gamespot made one video talking about that, the guy said "the hardcore gamers are the early adopters, and the mainstream friends will buy the console their hardcore friends have/advise."

Excellent PS4 sales! Now even though it's still early, if Sony can keep a nice 30k gap or so every week in NA they can build up a nice little lead for the duration of the year. That way when MS pulls the trigger on a Gears or Halo with a special edition console it won't do much damage in the states overall.

Go PS4!!

Apart from a Titanfall spike, I think that gap will grow in America (50K - 60K). I also think the PS4 will be outselling the X1 5:1 in Europe by mid March. Clearly Sony have been stockpiling for a huge launch in Japan but they won't need as many in that region after a couple of weeks, so they'll put more stock in Europe and America.

Once MS launches Xbox One in the rest of Europe it will go down to 3:1. I think with a price drop and big shooter releases this year they will take back the NA market. If they don't drop the price then it will be neck and neck in NA in 2014.
