Yesterday I updated my ps3 system, played a few hours on some random games, then I try out Killzone 2, but now no sound in the game even if there was sound on the XMB. then I tuned it off, thought I played so much for the day, and when I wanted to turn it on today, nothing shows up on the TV with my HDMI cable.. Tried the safe mode => restarting default settings, installing the update with a usb, and I only could connect it now using the old AV cable.

No. Playing TLOU and GT6 MP without any issue since the patch was out.

Played about a dozen hours total since update with no issues. I guess it's just bad luck and affecting a small number of users and you are one of them unfortunately.

No issues here. Playing Yakuza: Dead Souls. Mine is phat 160 gb bundled with Uncharted.

No issues at all, last thing I used was netflix.

I only used mine to watch Dragon Ball Z (why didn't Vegeta get his tail back when he got wished back?). No idea what the new update added. No problems aside from the Goku vs Frieza fight going waaaaaaay too long.

Hell NO!  That's what made it so epic it had so many stages.  The Frieza fight is the only fight I know of that has lasted a whole freaking season lol
