I got really hyped over the idea of Kinect, thought it was going to revolutionize gaming. Played it for about two days and it's been sitting in my closet ever since.

I was not so optimistic from the very first time I heard about Kinect. The promises were there but from the first previews I just felt that it wouldn's work.Project Milo must be the biggest bubble Microsoft has ever shown to public.

The original Fable on Xbox pretty much destroyed any overhype I could potentially have towards a game. In fact, it made me completely stop playing video games for a few years. So yeah, overhyping games belong to a long distant past, thanks to Fable.

Molyneux made it look like the second coming. The game was good but nowhere near what was expected. The funny part?He did the same for the sequels too.

Every day is a struggle. Even now, I have to convince myself to go straight home instead of buying something after work.

Only Mario Kart and The Walking Dead, recently.

Otherwise, I've been under control....

I don't overhype stuff, because you'll either be disappointed when you finally play the game or you'll enjoy it somewhat, but overrate by blindly ignoring its faults.

The other reason I don't overhype games is because I'm cheap and I don't want to hyped up for a game that I'm usually going to be waiting a long time before I own so it can drop in price before I purchase it. I used to buy so many games I wanted to play day one, but have since turned very patient and have waited over a year for games I was interested in to drop in price.

I honestly though Project Milo was going to be huge when I first saw it. Once they cancelled I realized it was nothing more than a staged demo for PR purposes. I have my doubts that Project Milo was ever actually real.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

After playing Morrowind for hundreds of hours, Fable felt like total crap. I guess im being a little harsh on the game, but it deserved such a judgment for all the lies Molyneux said prior to the release.

I also believe that was a well made lie just to show to the public.Molyneux surely did his job again. If I remember the previews back then i believe that journalists who tried Milo said it was limited to certain words.Hype is created by the press most of the time i think.Maybe someone's pocket grew larger the first days Kinect was shown to the public and was empty when reviews for it's games showed up.

He used to be such a creative mind and he ended up as a pr guy in the end of the day.Microsoft seems to have the ability to put $ in the mind of every person they have under their brand.
