Wishful dreams people have.

1. Retailers will have to request/buy the game. If I had to guess, the Wii U version will ship no more than 250-300k copies LIFETIME especially when competing with 5 OTHER PLATFORMS THAT 3RD party games sell better on.

Ubisoft will not put themselves in a situation where Wii U versions of the game will still idle on store shelves.

If they utilize the pad properly, I may get this on wiiu over the ps4. I like the idea of the wiiu pad being the protagonists device in my hand, seeing what he sees.... This is the game I actually went out and preordered my ps4 so early for, tho. I was very disappointed when it was no longer a launch title. Oh well, good things come to those who wait...

Not to be a killjoy, but the capcom website officially listed Devil May Cry PSP for years, and was still up on the site months after they publicly announced it had been canned, the only reason its now gone is because of a site redesign.

Same functionality has already been demo'd on various tablet and phones using the companion app (ps4) / smartglass (xbone)

I'm not using a vita, or a tablet or smartphone.... The vita lacks buttons, no I don't think virtual touchpad buttons are the same, and having a phone or tablet laying next to me or on my lap on top of the controller is just.... Lame to me. That's why nobody uses it. The wiiu is the only one that is a natural fit. So no, I won't be using a generic knock off.
