Team Ninja is developing a new video game for PlayStation 4, team leader Yosuke Hayashi revealed in a new Dengeki creators interview.

“First, we will release Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z for PS3 and Xbox 360, which we joint developed with the Inafune-led company Comcept,” Hayashi told Dengeki Online. “Please look forward to this ridiculous ‘zombie x ninja’ game.

“Additionally, we’re also developing a PlayStation 4 title internally, so please look forward to future updates.”

Can't wait for that next gen Jiggle Physics!!!

This time all Japanese developers will favor PS4, just like western developers. Its powerful, easy to develop and much larger install base is a huge plus. Really good news if its PS4 exclusive.

I hope it's a proper Ninja Gaiden brought back to the quality game play that 2 had.
