^^You might want to erase that. Rule 15

Basically you just install the program, give it a BIOS file that corresponds to the region of your games, and you're pretty much ready to go. You might have to configure controls or some other minor settings too but I can't really think about anything major. Then you just pop in the disc and let the emulator handle it. Of course for convenience you might want to rip the disc to your HDD so you don't need the disc every time; I'm sure the emulator has a way of telling what disc image formats it supports (for example, through some sort of an 'Open File' dialog). Yup, I'm pretty sure you can run both DVD's and disc images through PCSX2.

I'd tell you more accurately but I haven't really been using PCSX2 too much as my PC hasn't been able to handle it quite well enough. It's a shame as I haven't been able to play my PS2 games in years due to me not owning a TV and my monitor not having a proper connection in it.

Yeah. I don't think this thread is against Rule 15, but requesting & posting links most certainly is. Removed Somini's request & Eric's link and asking that you guys don't post any more, please. Use PM's if you have to.

Kresnik to the rescue. Thanks for stating what's good and what's not. Same to Pbroy :)

I've tried it and it works pretty well for most games. You can just put in any PS2 game in your PC's Blu-Ray drive or DVD drive and it will run, or download a games ISO. You choose in the emulator what/where it boots from. I reccomend checking the box that enables multi-threading in speedhacks for higher performance. But with remakes of GoW, FFX-X2, KH, Slystone, MGS, R&C, Ico/SoC for PS3. I'd personally rather not mess with it unless there is some rare/expensive game that is too cost prohibitive to get your hands on, but I think 99% of PS2 games can be found used on Ebay or Amazon quite easily for reasonable prices.
