Yes. I think i'll buy Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, and just make it playable on my PC. I'm craving the game all of sudden. YES CRAVINGGGG

I use PCSX2 and EPCSX (or whatever the PS1 one is called) and I haven't had a problem with either. Just get the BIOS and put your games in or get a digital version. I've been able to play all my games at 1080p or 4x resolution with no problem. You may have to do some tweaks to get rid of some graphical hiccups (Wild Arms 4 for example), but that's about it. I don't even have my PS2 hooked up anymore because the games are way more enjoyable to play with the bumped up resolutions through the emulator. Also, if you need to convert your old PS2 or PS1 saves, there are programs you can use to do so. Let me know if you want the names, and I'll try to dig them up for you.

The BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is the software that allows a PS2 (and most PCs I think) to run and the first thing the PS2 runs when you start it up. The BIOS for the PS2 is owned by the SONY, so that's why it's illegal to just download it, even though it's very easy to find. Seriously, it's really easy to find on the interwebs.

I've used that emulator a few times on my PC hooked up to my 42inch in the sitting room, it has a fair few neat tricks to unmuddy some ps2 games. Like people said here btw, you can perfectly just use normal ps2 game disks in your pc as long as you have a decent speed of dvd drive and play exactly like the old console.
