Look, the trailer looked amazing and it overall looks and sounds very promising. But cut the big boy talk already and show some real fucking gameplay or a 2nd trailer at least dudes.

That's true.  I think he should have said the graphics gap, instead.  It's obvoius that the graphics gap is going to increase over time, as developers want to use the PS4 to its full potential.  Which means we're going to start seeing 720p, maybe 900p, be the norm on the One in an attempt to keep up with the visuals.  MS said Halo 5 would be a milestone in visuals, but if they are truly aiming to compete with some of the PS4's upcoming games that will be releasing around the same time, I have no doubt that that game will run 720p and 30FPS.

Good God, you are deluded.  PS4 graphics will improve as developers gain a better understanding of the hardware but the XBox graphics will stagnate?  Halon5 graphics are already confirmed 60fps. Some people here are as biased as they are on SonyGaf.

As Hynad stated, you have no understanding of what I posted.  Of course, they will get better at making games on the One, but given the PS4's better setup, it will happen much quicker on the PS4.  Of course, there's also the fact that the One has a few bottlenecks that will NEVER be fully overcome.  The weaker GPU (fewer CUs/Shaders/ROPs), the One's eating a decent chunk of RAM for 3 OSs (there is only going to be so much MS can cut it down), and the small amount of ESRAM are the main ones.  So, like I said, if MS really wants Halo 5 to be a graphical powerhouse, even on par with some of Sony's games releasing around the same time (say Uncharted, if it releases in 2015), then they are going to have to make sacrifices to the resolution and/or framerate.  Otherwise, they'll have another Forza 5 on their hands, where they gimped the graphics greatly just to achieve 1080p and 60FPS.

Exactly. This is what is annoying me around this game. Too much talk with no evidence.

LMAo ryse is a launch title are not even the best looking one out now, no launch titles were that impressive not even shadow fall, the order, infamous will be big leaps from them. You are forgetting infamous numerous previews from sites said it is the first game that really seems next gen graphically, it is very impressive.


I am talking about next gen wow impression. For most people, the most realistic/sharp graphics is the most next gen game hence has the better graphics.


Of course technically you need more grunt (more Tflops) to run The order, Killzone than Ryse. But just technically on some specific technical levels.

Ryse is still the most sharp and realistic game. KZ is in fact cartoonish and The order is more cinematic with colors and constrasts kind of washed out.

Mainly this sharp effect comes from the artstyle, Antialiasing and post effects used: Ryse uses the sharp and effective SMAA2TX when Killzone use a strong ineffectively blurry FXAA. The order uses a new blur algorithm to wash out the specular contrasts in order to strongly mimic some kind of wrongly supposed superior cinematic effect.

But maybe Infamous like you said could compete with Ryse, but the main character's face doesn't look very realistic.

We need the world to be alive and beautiful to explore along with good gameplay not the faces of the charecters which won't see very much when playing the game. Ryse is not a good game other than charecter models tech demo (other developers can do if they want realistic things only the game design and the world requires) which is not what we want from next gen. We need a balance between everything as much as possible.

You seems to like and praise Ryse a lot, if you want a game with realistic models then wait for Quantic dreams games who showed a demo already about realistic faces and will get the game with emphasis on charecter models because their games are about emotional and its relationship for the game.

If you call gameplay of ryse bad then you are pretty much saying batman dark asylum gameplay as bad since teh fightign mechanics are identical. Hav e you played the game as if you did ,, then you would know that the world of ryse is most defiently alive filled with alot of things happening in teh background. judging a game without playing it is really not giving it un bias opinion right?

Lol @AERYS. AERYS DI DYOU EVEN PLAY The game? If you did then you would knwo theres no QTE. it plays exactly liek batman games. Are you saying that that game has bad fghting mechanices. No physics ,, you sure made my day. The game is filled with physics,, fromteh cloth on marisu body ,, to teh cloth in environemtn on teh ship and many more.. its truly beautiful to see that plus it has larger daw distance. Agin picturs shown does not equal to how it looks like in hgameplay motion. so far all we had it talks but no videos.. so until tehy hsow video it at this moment all just talk .. anyoen can have a screen shot of a cutscene and doctred to mkae it super hi resolution and claimto be in game. It has happened before.
