Well to be fair in the early days of the DS and PSP's life cycles it was sure looking to be that way... the DS had hardly any games the first year of its life besides a port of Mario 64 and Nintendogs, then Mario Kart DS came in holiday '05 and, more importantly, the redesigned DS lite was launched in spring '06 alongside New Super Mario Bros, which is really what catapulted the DS to its stratospheric sales and the Wii was also able to ride this new momentum for Ninty later that year.
But this whole "I told you so!" article is a joke because they are trying to make it look like Nintendo was the one who started the trend of touch screen portables when there were plenty of Palm Pilots (remember those things?!?) on the market years before... hell even Tiger's Game.com handheld featured both a touch screen AND stylus pen 7 YEARS before the DS was first launched...

And the second screen thing has been proven to be nothing more than a gimmick for consoles... nobody is rushing out to buy a Wii U, and most gamers would simply prefer a standard dual-analog controller for gaming since most Wii U games don't even use the touch screen for anything other than an on the fly menu option.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
