I agree that they will probably announce Z (or the Hoenn remakes) in early 2015.  That just makes the most sense to me.  Now that I have more confidence regarding that, I could see Pokemon XY selling over 17M lifetime.



like i said before the lowest i see it selling is 14mil. Its 11.61mil (even though sold to customers is about 10.8mil-11mil units including digital) by dec 31st it only needs 3mil for that to happen. 17mil might be a stretch but by all means its a good estimation especially if no new main game comes out 2014.

I actually think that they will hit 14M by the end of 2014.  As for your last sentence, what if no new main game is even announced in 2014, and Pokemon XY will have the 2014 holiday season without hesitation?

Yes nintendo games do well holiday and if a game comes out 2015 they better wait intill mid jan to announce it

So far (2014) we have 75k sold in US, 82k for Europe, and 82k for Japan!

Worldwide we have 264k so far! Lets go XY!

What are the total sales of this game o.O Wonder how much its currently undertracked by.Maybe 1.5mil?

Im thinking between 2.5mil-3mil. but then again, if Europe is tracked good (possible undertracked) NPD shows US is undertracked by currently 70k-80k this year. (Overall under tracked by 200k+).

 

VGC has total sales undertracked by alot. As of Jan 4th, VGC has XY about 9.93mil. Nintendo has Digital+Shipped Dec 31st 2013 11.61mil. We kno digital sales at that time arent high at all (Ex: japan had around 4.15mil sales but only 100k were digital!).

Undertracked at that time between 600k-1mil.  This year its definitely undertracked by at least 80k (US)

Im guessing Nintendo will reveal updated numbers with the fiscal year report, over 13 million as of Mar 31 iswhat im guessing
